Please be aware that the buildings at Acacia Mini Storage are fully insured, however customer's goods stored within their individual lock up units are not. While customer insurance is not mandatory, it is certainly worth exploring the options to obtaining cover while storing with us.

First thing to consider—are the goods you intend on storing currently insured in their current location? If so, this may be your easiest and most cost-effective option! Have a chat with your current insurer, as your existing policy may cover your goods while they are being stored. It's important to confirm if there is a time limit on how long your goods would be covered while in storage (e.g. some may cover you for up to 12 months) and whether this timeframe works with your plans.

Alternatively, we are an approved location for SSIA Self-Storage Insurance cover. SSIA is a third-party insurance provider, offering protection for personal and business items stored in approved Self Storage facilities.
